We’ve been in our house for over 15 years and though it was perfect when we bought it, we had begun to struggle recently as the addition of two children and two dogs meant the space no longer worked for us. After looking around at other thing on the market we quickly realised that extending was going to be our best option as nothing we saw quite met our needs.
From our first meeting with Jason, he understood what we were hoping for. He listened to our vague suggestions, asked questions about how we used our spaces and was able to come up with thoughtful and insightful suggestions from the start.
Throughout the initial design process Jason kept in constant contact with us and supported us whilst we tweaked and adapted the design as we began to envision how we would use the spaces. He then worked hard to get us through our complicated conservation area planning process, which seemed overwhelming at times.
When the plans were approved, and we were then faced with the daunting task of finding a building company Jason gave us great suggestions of companies he had worked with previously and knew the quality of the work of. His suggestions were perfect and our building work was completed by a company he had recommended.
From start to finish Jason has been invaluable. It isn’t just about drawing the plans, it’s about someone who understands what you need and is able to interpret that into a plan for a building that will ultimately improve the way you live in and use the space.
Jason designed for us a beautiful space that works for our family, has improved the way we live and has futureproofed our home.

Within two meetings Jason completely understood our requirements, spacious living, good use of current floor area, natural lighting, outdoor and of course budget. We have used Jason for a recent single story extension. With this being our first big project, we didn’t really know how or where to start. Upon our first meeting with Jason, we already felt at ease with the project.
Jason made suggestions to the project that we never even considered and now ultimately have put in place. No question was too daft for Jason and the rest of the FORM-A Studio team. Always on hand to answer any questions and help direct us through the various planning applications and processes.
Jason recommend structural engineers that have been great too. I can’t recommend FORM-A Studio enough. Even during the build, the builder was able to speak with Jason over certain aspects of the project, which took a lot of stress off the build.
